Oppose Barack Obama's nomination of
Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense!  

The Issue.
Former Senator Chuck Hagel's prior statements and positions on Israel, Iran, and U.S. military operations and funding make him the wrong choice to be the United States of America's Secretary of Defense.   

Chuck Hagel's positions reflect a wrong-headed, anti-Israel ideology.
 As Senator Ted Cruz recently wrote… "[Hagel's] views on foreign and defense policy are out of the mainstream, and he is not a good fit for Secretary of Defense… His record on Israel strongly suggests that he views Israel not as our friend but as a nuisance."

Bipartisan opposition is growing against his nomination.

Mainstream Americans want a Secretary of Defense who will readily recognize and defend our allies, like Israel, while protecting us from our enemies and those who intend to do us harm, like Iran. There are far better choices for Defense Secretary than Chuck Hagel!

We, the undersigned citizens of the United States of America, are calling upon the United States Senate to reject the nomination of former Senator Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense.

America needs a Secretary of Defense who will readily support and defend our allies, like Israel, while protecting us from our enemies and recognizing those who intend to do us harm. Political considerations must be put aside! This is a critical position affecting national security, foreign policy, and the viability of our U.S. Military.
